What is Pay per Click (PPC)?

Pay per Click (PPC) is a type of search marketing where advertisers pay a set amount whenever their ad is clicked by a prospect (also known as a click thru). When a website is formed and its existence is brought to the search engine attention, the website enters an “estimate period” by the search engine. This evaluation time is referred to as a “sand box”. The time period a website spends in the sand box is undecided and depends completely on the inner policy of the search engine.
